Job Description

Essential Functions of Job:

Responsible for maintaining efficient operation of designated areas, including maintaining in a clean fashion, as outlined in SOPs.
Responsible for receiving incoming ingredients in and properly storing as required including temperature, CO2, freezer and sucralose checks.
Responsible for ensuring required natural colors are submitted out for testing as required.
Responsible for inventoring, proper handling and storage and accurately recording ingredient usage in batches.
Responsible for prepping and batching flavored water products as per batch sheet.
Responsible for performing correct mathematic calculations and following detailed quality parameters while mixing ingredients for a batch of flavored water.
Responsible for monitoring and adjusting carbonation, juice mix, as a result of hourly checks results on flavored water.
Responsible for back-up as needed to quality, sanitation and production as needed
Responsible for effective communication with production and quality personnel
Responsible for entering Talking Rain ingredient consumption, ensuring weights and dates are accurately recorded.
Responsible for shift, as used, forklift inspections.
Assuring company standards are maintained and product integrity is preserved.
Consults with Quality Manager, Supervisors, and crew leads to resolve quality issues.
Responsible for assisting with new hire training and cross trainings.
Back up for quality technicians I and II and sanitation as needed
All other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Must be able to read various measuring instruments (ounces, grams, PH meters, conductivity meters, etc.)
Must be able to maintain pumps and instruments i.e. calibrate, verify and service.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds minimum on a regular basis
Copious walking and standing required.
Must have excellent oral, written, organizational, and communication skills.
Must be detailed oriented and energetic.
Must be a self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be available to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.
Must be forklift certified.
Working knowledge of HACCP, food safety, cGMPs, and SQF are preferred.
